Fashion Collaborations | LOEWE x Bernard Leach
Find out more about how we worked with LOEWE and the Estate of Bernard Leach to bring their creative vision to life.
For LOEWE’s capsule collection, launched in November 2022, DACS worked with the luxury fashion brand to license artworks by influential British potter Bernard Leach.
This collaboration came to life due to LOEWE’s Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson’s passion for the work of Leach who played a pioneering role in creating an identity for artist potters across the world. Regarded as the ’father of British studio pottery’, Bernard Leach’s work was influenced by his upbringing and life in Japan and China, and the pottery studio he established at St. Ives was one of the most unique and influential creative spaces at the time.
Working with DACS
DACS licensed works by Bernard Leach for LOEWE, working towards achieving Jonathan Anderson's creative vision in using Leach's work in various types of garments.
DACS works closely with artists and leading brands across a range of industries to bring projects to life using extraordinary images of modern and contemporary art, while making sure artists’ rights are always protected.
