Do you need help licensing your work?
Managing requests to reproduce your work can be complicated and time-consuming. Leave it to us and we'll make sure you receive the money due to you every time someone uses your work.
Our team of in-house copyright experts will deal with everything on your behalf, from the price charged to the rights that should (and shouldn't) be granted.
And because we belong to an international network of sister societies in 32 countries, we can represent you worldwide, whether your work is used in a German art magazine or on an American TV channel.
Are you eligible?
If you answered yes to all three questions, then you're eligible for our copyright licensing service.
Are you a visual artist?
Do you own the copyright in your artworks?
Can you confirm you've not granted exclusive rights to anyone else?
How does it work?
1. You sign up for the service
Simply fill out this form and we’ll be in touch.
2. We agree terms with you
You and DACS sign an agreement that clearly explains how we shall manage the licensing of your work.
3. We license your work to our customers
We approve use of your work and collect an appropriate fee on your behalf.
4. You receive royalties up to four times a year
We’ll send you a statement along with any royalty payments collected on your behalf, minus 25% to cover our costs.
The advantage for me is that anyone wanting to reproduce my images can be directed to DACS. Many galleries are often pressured for time and so it relieves the burden on them. It’s good for everyone.
