Our origins are in licensing
Licensing is why DACS was set up. In 1984, DACS was established as a collecting society to manage licensing for artists, when no one else did.
Over the years, we’ve arranged more than 60,000 licences for DACS members in over 70 countries, and have worked with thousands of clients, including: Barbican, BBC, Christopher Kane, Harper's Bazaar, Penguin Random House, Phaidon Press, Netflix, Sky Arts, Shakespeare's Globe, Sony, Saatchi & Saatchi, Tate and UNIQLO.
