This summer Pogus Caesar, Nicholas Sinclair and Susan Stockwell welcomed us into their studios to tell us how valuable royalties are to their practice.

Artists have rights like everybody else. Being with DACS has allowed me not to think about the business side of licensing, it’s allowed me the freedom to explore my inner-self and the freedom to create more.

All the work I do to manage the Estate is funded by Artist’s Resale Right. It brings in a few thousand pounds a year which I usually put straight back into publishing.
