We rely on you responding to Requests for Information to carry out an efficient service for artists and their beneficiaries.

How it works

  1. 1. We write to you asking for sales information

We’ll send you a Request for Information four times a year, in January, April, July and October, asking you to declare when you are involved in the sale of a work which may have generated a royalty for the artist under the Artist’s Resale Right.

  2. 2. You send us your sales information

You have 90 days to respond. We’ll then check the information and confirm whether a royalty is due. We may contact you if we need any further details.

  3. 3. We invoice you for the royalty due

We pay the artist or the artist’s estate within 30 days of receiving the royalties from you.
