Mash Ups The Kowalsky Gallery at DACS 16 July - 19 September 2008. This summer at the Kowalsky Gallery artist Stuart Semple tackles the concept of the visual 'Mash Up' in his first curated group show in London. Featuring 5 of the UK's most fascinating young artists, Nicky Carvell, Stuart Semple, Adham Faramawy, Nathan James and Piers Secunda, this show promises more than just a bright and glossy homage to pop, but an interesting insight into how a new generation make sense of the complexities of mass culture. Mash Ups opens weekdays by appointment 10am-5pm and until 9pm on the first Thursday of every month as part of www.firsthursdays.co.uk.
