DACS is rapidly becoming one of the most well-respected art licensing agencies in its field, promoting and protecting the copyright and related rights of artists and visual creators in the UK and worldwide.

Copyright Licensing
We provide a range of licensing services for copyright consumers seeking to license the work of an artist for a one-off use or continuous uses.

Our clients come from a diverse range of sectors including advertising, publishing, broadcasting, multimedia, product design and merchandising. Our members' works have been licensed for everything from greetings cards to film sets, from websites to silk scarves.

Fees are calculated according to the type and purpose of the reproduction. Click here to submit a licensing request to our Copyright Licensing team.

Collective Licensing
Collective Licensing is used in situations where it would be difficult or impossible for an individual to licence their rights, for example, for the photocopying of their work. DACS negotiates a share of this licensing money on behalf of visual artists in the UK. Money from Collective Licensing is paid to artists every year through our Payback service.
